Privacy policy

In short: we store your rides in order to show them to you. We sell nothing to anyone, and there are no ads and no third-party analytics in the app.
What data we store
- Email address — you sign in with it. We hold no password: a one-time code is sent to your email.
- Name, if you gave one. The members of your groups see it.
- Rides: the track with coordinates, time and elevation, plus whatever the watch recorded or whatever was in an imported file — speed, heart rate, cadence, temperature, power.
- Marks: coordinates, type, your description and your rating.
- Paired watches: the model and the time it last contacted the server.
- Group ride: while it is running — your coordinates, direction and status. And an SOS signal with coordinates, if you sent one.
Separately from an account: if you left your email address in the form on this site to be invited to the test, we keep that address and the date, and nothing else — no name, nothing more. It exists for exactly one invitation letter; it is not passed on and not put on a mailing list. Write to support@endurocrew.com and we will take it off the list; either way it goes when the test stops being closed.
What for
To show you your rides and places, and to show the members of your group where you are during a joint ride and who needs help. If you have separately said yes, anonymised tracks also go into the shared map of roads — see below. There is no other purpose.
The shared map of roads
The map of enduro roads is built out of riders' tracks, and taking part in it is a separate question we ask outright: Profile → The shared map. It is off until you say yes, and until then none of your tracks reach that map.
If you say yes, what goes in is the line you rode — with no name and nothing tying it to your account — along with speed, heart rate and slope along it, which is what the difficulty of a stretch is worked out from. The start and the end of a ride are cut off before the track reaches the map, so the address you set out from never enters it at all. Your marks and notes stay yours and are not part of it.
You can change your mind at any time in the same place. What has already been counted carries nothing that points back at you, so no single track can be pulled back out — but new ones stop counting.
Who sees it
- By default, only you see your rides, marks and places.
- Members of the group see your name, position and status only during a group ride you are taking part in. Personal rides do not reach the group.
- An SOS signal is seen by the riders on the same ride: name, coordinates and time.
- A group invitation link shows whoever opens it the name of the group and the names of its members.
Where the data sits
On our own server in the OVH data centre in Warsaw, Poland. The connection to the app and to the watch is encrypted.
Data from the watch reaches us through the Garmin Connect app on your phone — that is a requirement of the Garmin platform. Garmin is covered by their privacy policy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell data or pass it to third parties.
- We do not show ads and do not embed advertising trackers.
- We do not use third-party analytics — no Google Analytics, nothing of that kind.
- The site loads nothing from anywhere else: the fonts are ours, there are no counters and no widgets. Opening a page talks to no other server.
How long we keep it
For as long as you use the app. The coordinates from a group ride are stored together with that ride; there is no separate tracking of you outside rides.
How to delete your data
In the app: “Profile” → “Delete account”. All rides, marks, watch pairings and the account itself are deleted at once and for good. If the account of a group owner is deleted, the group passes to whoever has been in it longest, and if there are no members left, it is deleted.
If you cannot sign in, write to support@endurocrew.com from the address you sign in with.
An individual ride or mark you can delete yourself in the app.
Age
The app is not intended for children under 16.
If this policy changes
The date of the update is at the top of the page. We will announce material changes in the app.
